Hothcanada: I've seen other copies of this (on the "Live Thru The Years" boot dvd & on youtube) & those have a very powerful green tint to them, this is one doesn't.
It's a bit faded, has nasty break-up (at 1:11) & patch where the volume fluctuates (14:12 - 14:23). Unlike the copy used on "Live Thru The Years" this doesn't look like a doctored VCD-rip, this is straight from an old vhs tape.
The version used on "Live Thru The Years" used two sources to complete this segment : the first song is in fantastic quality, appears to be taken from a Japanese broadcast as there is Japanese lettering at the beginning. But it switches sources after the first song (at 2:03) & the remainder of the segment comes from a higher-gen source with that strong, green-tint (the pixelation has me believing this source was originally VCD). For the first song only, "Live Thru The Years" comes out on top. For the remainder of the footage, I believe this rip is better picture quality than what "Live Thru The Years" offers. If not...it at least offers an alternate look at this classic footage.
"Live Thru The Years" version fades out at 17:16 when the performance concludes. This rip runs 17:24 & includes a credit screen that reads : "produced & directed by Richard Robinson".
