There have been numerous releases of the video to DVD transfer from the 24th May 1975 Earls Court concert, but nobody until now has combined it with the first part of the last night (it cuts out during Kashmir). Empress Valley have got the upgraded quality video/DVD transfer that has been available for a while from the 24th May show. However, and most importantly, they have tracked down Moby Dick on video (albeit several generations higher than the rest of the footage). Therefore this new release is a very significant one, and Empress Valley have tried to give the complete SBD recording with as much video footage as possible. This is highly commendable. All the songs are well indexed and easily accessed, and there is a good opening menu. However there is no choice of sound setup, it is only available in LPCM 2. The title of this release is rather facile, a pity they could not have come up with something a little more imaginative for such an important release. It is superfluous to describe the visuals and performances of these two legendary concerts, suffice it to say that they are wonderful and highly emotive viewing experiences.
