All videos have timecodes displayed except the In Bloom (all suits promo)
Notes below by Brett Robinson: I'd like to point out that I know little-to-nothing about this tape compilation. Thanks to the ever-generous RC for his monumental assistance. I'd prefer the bitrate to have been a bit higher, but this for now will suffice!
Lithium and the In Bloom Music Video (Sub Pop version)...are the final edits... officially released in some capacity. But they were on the DVD and I didn't feel like re-authoring them out of it...
The SLTS video is fairly washed out and a pale shadow of the actualized version.
The highlight of this DVD are the In Bloom videos. The all-suits promo version, to the best of my knowledge, was never aired on television and has remained largely unseen until now. The two telecine versions are basically rough mixes so to speak, and the picture quality has a much more "home video" look to it than the finalized version. The telecine versions also feature Doug Llewlyn's introduction, but the crowd noise is absent all throughout the video, so it makes for a strange viewing if you're as accustomed to the original version as I am.
The Endless, Nameless video is excellent. It is hands down my favorite performance of one of my favorite Nirvana songs, and to have an additional Professional video from this show at the Paramount Theater - 10/31/91....is very cool. The downside is that it's in black and white, but this is definitely better than the alternative - nothing.
